Only this summer the Croatian Post has issued five exclusive sets of postage stamps with the following themes: Europe, Croatian Flora, Croatia Fauna and Croatian Visual Arts (vo.1 and vol. 2).
In the sets have been printed the postage stamps of the Republic of Croatia per theme since the beginning of its issuing in the year 2003.
In the thematic issue Europe are postage stamps issued on the theme Europe, commemorating 500th Anniversary of the Discovery of America. The following issues are: Croatian Modern Painting, Inventions, Peace and Freedom, Famous Women, Stories and Legends, National Festivals, National Parks, Europe 2002, Water the Natural Wealth, Circuses and Poster Art.
Croatian Flora and Fauna represents the series of postage stamps on the theme of the Croatian flora and fauna.
The set of the postage stamp issued on the theme of the Croatian Visual Arts has been divided in two volumes due to numerous postage stamps issued on this theme. In the first volume are the postage stamps issued from 1994 till 1998, and in the second volume are the stamps issued from 1999 until 2003.
All sets have been packed for protective and transport reasons in vacuum PVC bags.
Each set has been published in total of 500 pieces and are to be sold: Europe – 110,00 HRK, Croatian Fauna – 75,00 HRK, Croatian Flora – 60,00 HRK, Croatian Visual Art, volume 1 – 70,00 HRK, Croatian Visual Art, volume 2 – 65,00 HRK.
