If you need to exchange a foreign currency, all you need to do is visit one of Croatian Post’s numerous post offices.
When needed, you can purchase foreign-currency cash according to the applicable exchange rate list of Hrvatska poštanska banka (HPB) at most post offices. The amount of foreign cash that may be purchased is unlimited. Foreign cash is purchased from domestic and foreign individuals only for the currencies included in HPB’s exchange rate list. The exchange commission is 1.5 percent. Only banknotes may be purchased, whereas coins are excluded.
