This glossary of postal symbols gives a brief description and explanation of postal markings, labels and seals whish are found on letters, postal items and packages.

EMS (LABEL) - designates separate express mail items in international traffic delivered the fastest possible way.

ENCOMBRANT (LABEL) - a rectangular designation of a package which is separated from the other packages
due to its bulky shape or content.

E-PACKAGE - this package has a label with a blue border.

EKSPRESS - perishable goods must be sent as an express mail item; such mail item is delivered to the recipient before other items.

EXPRESS MAIL SERVICE - particularly urgent incoming international traffic mail item which is the delivered
the fastest possible way and for which the sender receives an ‘Acknowledgement of Receipt’.
