Postal money order
Postal money order is a simple way to send money to someone. In the post office nearest to your residence simply fill in the form and the Croatian Post employee will deliver the money to the addressee. If at the time of delivery the addressee is not found at his address, an advice of arrival will be left for him containing information in which post office and by which date he can collect the money. In post office you can also - if you wish, get a copy and a subsequent receipt of the money order. The maximum amount which can be sent is 20 000 HRK.
On the occasion of sending money order you can ask for following additional services:
Payment to the addressee in person – money can be paid exclusively to the person whose name is on the money order
Payment with return receipt – the sender will receive return receipt as confirmation of delivery
Payment on the next working day – money is paid to the addressee on the next working day from the date of arrival of money order (Saturday is not considered as working day)
